The Magic: the Gathering Croatian National Championship is an invitation-only event, open to citizens or foreign players resident in Croatia from Jan 1st 2009 who have won an invitation to Nationals through DCI Ratings or from qualifying events such as Regional or City Championships.

Registration Requirements
To register, all participants must present one of the following forms of identification:
- A driver's license, or
- A passport, or
- A copy of a birth certificate and photo ID (school ID's are acceptable)

Players not registered by 8:45 AM on July 11 may be denied entry to Croatian Nationals.

Registration times and locations
Registration for Croatian Nationals will open at the event venue between 8am-8.45am Saturday July 11th.

Format
- Standard and Booster Draft
- 1 Shards of Alara, 1 Conflux, and 1 Alara Reborn booster pack will be used for drafting
- Deck lists are required
- Check www.thedci.com for Standard and Booster Draft format rules
- For Standard part of the tournament new core set (2010) will *NOT* be legal.

Schedule
Saturday 8 July
- 8.00am - 8.45am Croatian Nationals Registration open
- 9am Player Meeting

Tournament Length
- The number and format order of Swiss rounds will be based on attendance:
- 64 players or less: 3 rounds of Booster Draft followed by 3 rounds of Standard
- 65-128 players: 3 rounds of Booster Draft followed by 4 rounds of Standard
- 129 or more players: 3 rounds of Booster Draft followed by 5 rounds of Standard
- Top 8 single-elimination finals have no time limit; however, players are expected to play at a reasonable pace and finish their matches within 90 minutes.

Advancement
- All players may participate in all Swiss rounds
- After the final Swiss round, the top 8 players advance to the Top 8 single-elimination finals

Top 8
- Standard format
- Top 8 matches will be best 3 of 5
- Includes playoffs for 3rd and 4th

Invitations
- The Top 4 players receive invitations to the 2009 World Championships in Rome Italy. The top 3 players will form the Croatian National Team and compete in the teams section the 4th placed player will be the team alternate.

- Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document
-M2010 *will not* be legal for the standard part of the event.

In addition to Croatian Nationals, the weekend will feature an exciting public events program with a wide range of events catering to players of all levels. Public event schedule will be linked to this page when available.

Ovisno o interesu, za vrijeme druge polovice Swiss rundi i/ili za vrijeme Top8-a bit će organizirani M2010 draftovi s upadom od 90 kn i 8 boostera nagrada (3/2/2/1).

Moguce je da se top 4 nece igrati na 3 dobivene.
Upad je 100kn.

Izgleda prilično lako doći do sitea, ako navigator nije vrli Marić

Problem je u prijavama, da li je to moguće odraditi online i uplatiti preko netbanka ili nešto. U protivnom buđenje je u 4 ujutro.

To je najbolje vrijeme za buđenje ostaneš svjež cijeli dan.
